Come and enjoy this classic musical film in a whole new way as you join other fans in belting out treasured songs like Tonight, I Feel Pretty and America. Dressing up as your favorite character is encouraged!

Based on Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, this 1960s musical stars Natalie Wood and Richard Beymer as star-crossed young lovers caught between rival teenage street gangs, the Jets and the Sharks. Tony, a former Jet and best friend of the gang leader, Riff, falls in love with Maria, the sister of Bernardo, the leader of the Sharks. The dark theme, sophisticated music, extended dance scenes, and focus on social problems marked a turning point in American musical theatre.

Set in New York City’s Upper West Side in the 1950s, this film was directed by Robert Wise and Jerome Robbins, with a Leonard Bernstein score and Stephen Sondheim lyrics.

West Side Story won 10 Academy Awards, including Best Picture. This timeless tale has captured the hearts of audiences of all ages.
