Venue Information:
Learn how to weave pieces of glass into a vessel and then slump the glass. The weave vessel will be 10' x 10'. the pieces of the glass weave glass will be of different sizes and we will work glass stringers in the weave. for your next project the class will work with glass lace and make two glass votives. In all projects the class will work on glass blending colors. Glass cutting will also be taught. a glass kiln will run during class to show fusing, and slump. Student will be invited to help run the kiln. bring 4 tubes of super glue (no gel type ) a black sharpie pen and safely glasses. Instructor Diane Wood a Glass artists of 30 yrs.
