Making furniture and decor items using wooden pallets is a popular DIY project. Our instructors, Corey Holsop and Faye Soring will guide you through the steps to create your own pallet chair. You will learn how to select pallets for your projects including which ones to avoid and how to prepare them for use. This is a “hands-on” workshop where you will disassemble two pallets, modify the pieces and reassemble them into your new chair. Safety is a priority! You will be using hand tools and power drills only. The instructors will display the safe use of power saws to complete your project. So, ladies and gentlemen, get your DIY on and join us in our woodshop to create something awesome that is sure to wow your friends. Class size is limited to 6 participants over the age of 16.

– Technics of disassembling pallets and the appropriate tools (skill saw, sawsall, power drills, sander, and hand tools)
