Alexander Humboldt's numerous scientific observations at all geographical elevations of living organisms contributed to his theory of the unity of nature. More places and species are named after him than after any other human being. Speaker John Richardson will cover just a snapshot of Humboldt's life and contributions. This talk is part of a monthly Speaker Series sponsored by the Santa Clara Valley Audubon Society. For more information, go to scvas.org/SpeakerSeries.
